Type of Leather: - Cowhide and goatskin are strong contenders when it comes to breaking ion leather. Wear Leather in Rain: - Water has the quality to loosen up your leather jacket a little, but it is important that you treat your leather jacket immediately after a slight shower falls over it, do not allow your leather jacket to get drenched in rain, if its not raining then sprinkle some amount of water on it to give it a worn off look. Do whatever it takes to add wrinkles to add wrinkles to your new leather jacket.
Roughen your leather: - Use steel wool to rub your leather jacket and scratch the surface unevenly, do not put pressure when rubbing your leather jacket, do it with light hands.
