Leather Skirts: A Perennial Fashion Statement

Leather is no longer associated with bikers. You can view latest leather trends on the runway every month, various designers like Balmain DKNY, Marc Jacobs and many more launch their collection of leather apparels almost every months, you can always hear that some designed launched a leather collection and it turns out to be the latest fad, but in fact the truth is that Leather is Fad.

So what do you think how can you differentiate yourself by wearing a leather skirt and not be associated with a call girl, well there are many ways, genuine leather is the basic answer I would suggest avoid buying faux leather, it also depends as to what do you pair the leather skirt with. Longer the leather skirt, the class get attenuated, on the other hand if you plan on buying a short leather skirt, you can wear it a white top to be on the safe side as white is the universal color and can be paired with any color leather skirt; this is one combination which make you look like a boho chic.

Always remember that if the skirt is tighter then opt for a loose top and vice versa; avoid wearing the high knee length boots and please stop imitating Julia Roberts from pretty woman, this is not the look which will get you attention in the right intention, opt for booties as this will definitely accentuate your leather skirt. Leather skirts cannot be only worn in dark color; this is the common belief among many women, well! This is not true as leather skirts are available in pink, green, yellow etc…you can always pair a short sleeve top with these light shaded leather skirts.

A white or a cream leather skirt is a definite option, but avoid getting dirty wearing light colors, leather is one outfit which can look even classier when it dirty, white and cream colors are obviously not as cool as black but they will definitely get you attention. This is especially for women who have a perfect body to die-for, you can opt for pencil skirts. A tight fit leather skirt which is up to knee length and has a back slit.
